Pressure sensing: A pressure sensor is installed inside the weighing plate. When the car drives on the weighing plate, the wheel exerts pressure on the weighing plate, and this pressure is transmitted to the pressure sensor. The pressure sensor usually adopts the principle of strain gauge or piezoresistive type, which can convert the pressure into the corresponding electrical signal change. For example, when the strain gauge pressure sensor is subjected to pressure, the internal strain gauge will be deformed, resulting in a change in resistance value, resulting in a change in electrical signals; Piezoresistive pressure sensors use pressure to change the resistivity of the material to generate electrical signal changes.
Signal conversion and processing: The electrical signal generated by the pressure sensor is usually weak, and it needs to be amplified by the signal amplifier to improve the strength and stability of the signal. The amplified signal is then converted into a digital signal by an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) for processing and analysis by a microprocessor or controller.
Data calculation and display: the microprocessor converts the digital signal to the corresponding weight value according to the pre-calibrated parameters and algorithms, and carries out related calculations and processing, such as calculating the weight of each wheel, the total weight, etc. Finally, the processed data is displayed through the display screen, allowing the operator to visually read the car's weighing results.
